Technology and integration
Hardware
Running on standard Windows servers/clients, Syncova products can be implemented on to existing architectures negating the need for any significant hardware investment. The only required software on the servers is .NET 2.0 Framework, MSMQ 2.0 or higher, and SQL Server 2005 client tools.
Implementation overview
OPTIMA has an integration layer which provides all the tools and controls to manage these incoming and outgoing feeds. There are five different adaptor methods available for OPTIMA to load data from a client source system. They are not mutually exclusive and can be chosen on a per-feed basis so as the most appropriate adaptor is used for each feed.
OPTIMA can accept other data feeds (e.g. Broker Margin files) in all standard formats including flat files, message based, or direct database access. All the validation and control for each type of feed is already built into the Integration Layer.
This level of isolation ensures that the data feeds can be built and tested rapidly and in parallel, this ensuring minimum overhead to get OPTIMA installed and into production.
